Natsuki Hanae (花江 夏樹) was born on June 26, 1991 in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, and his distinctly boyish voice means that he is usually cast as young, softspoken, and/or innocent boys. He first came into prominence with his role as Wien in Tari Tari, but is perhaps best known as Ken Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul and Tanjiro Kamado from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He was formerly known as the Nico Nico Douga singer "Hanagoe" before getting into the voice acting business.

Also, he's noted to be a huge League of Legends gamer, as he played this game long before he was cast as Veigar and Ziggs. Time will tell if he decides develop a professional League of Legends career in the LCS.

He has quite the popular Youtube channel, amassing 1.5 million subscribers and counting. He often posts Let's Play videos, with many of them featuring fellow voice actors as well. On top of that, he has a popular segment called the "Game Of Darkness", featuring fellow voice actors Kensho Ono and Takuya Eguchi, where board and card games get taken up to eleven and their voice acting skills get pushed to the limit. Expect things to get weird.

In more personal news, he announced on a radio show in August 2016 that he got married to someone outside of the industry. In September 2020, he announced on his Twitter that he became a father to twin baby girls.

It should be noted that "Hanae" is a Stage Name. His real surname has not been disclosed by his agency.

Has a Twitter account where he jokingly describes himself as a cat bot, which may or may not be true.
