Micheline Josette Renée Etevenon (March 3, 1924 - April 27, 2014), known as Micheline Dax, was a French actress, voice actress and singer.

Born in Paris, she was first a singer and whistler accompanying the likes of Charles Aznavour and Édith Piaf and performing in operettas up until the mid-'50s when she took up boulevard theatre. She had quite some success at it, notably with Driving Miss Daisy in the eponymous role as late as 2004.

She also took up voice acting, voicing characters in animated adaptations of Franco-Belgian Comics such as Cleopatra VII in two Asterix animated films, Bianca Castafiore in the Tintin adventure The Lake of Sharks and Calamity Jane in Lucky Luke. From 1977 to 1981, she was the French voice of Miss Piggy and most of the female characters of The Muppet Show.

As she aged, her voice got deeper and more matron-ish/Evil Matriarch-like, culminating in memorable roles such as Auntie Shrew in The Secret of NIMH, Aunt Figg in Tom and Jerry: The Movie and Ursula in The Little Mermaid. Having trained as a singer helped greatly with Ursula's song, the French version of which she performed herself.
