Michael Garrett Shanks (born December 15, 1970 in Vancouver, British Columbia) is a Canadian actor, writer, and director. He is best known for Stargate SG-1 and Saving Hope.
He is married to actress Lexa Doig and has three children, one from a previous relationship with Vaitiare Bandera.
