Mathilda May (born Karin Haïm; 8 February 1965 in Paris, France) is a French actress and dancer of Sephardic Jewish and Swedish descent.
She is best known internationally for her role as Space Girl in Tobe Hooper's Lifeforce. In 1987, she was awarded the César Award for Most Promising Actress for her role in The Cry of the Owl.
