María Isabel Verdú Rollán (born October 2, 1970 in Madrid), better known as Maribel Verdú, is a Spanish actress.

She made her acting debut at the age of 13 in Captain Sánchez's Crime in 1985, and she has since worked with renowned Spanish language filmmakers on both sides of the Atlantic such as Pablo Berger, Bigas Luna, Fernando Trueba, Gonzalo Suárez, Alfonso Cuarón and Guillermo del Toro.

The recipient of numerous accolades throughout her decades-spanning career, including two Goya Awards for Best Actress in Spain, an Ariel Award for Best Actress in Mexico, the Gold Medal of the Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of Spain in 2008 and the National Cinematography Award in 2009, she is best known for her roles in Lovers, Belle Époque, Golden Balls, Y tu mamá también, Pan's Labyrinth, The Blind Sunflowers and Blancanieves.

She's been married to fellow Spanish actor Pedro Larrañaga since 1999.
