Marathon Media was a French television studio based in Paris. They produced live-action dramas, nature documentaries, and animated series, usually animesque, in French and Japanese (although their work has been dubbed into many other languages). They were called Marathon Media Group before being bought out by Zodiak. After this, the third word was omitted from their name.
In February 2016, Marathon Media shut down after Zodiak Media was folded into the Banijay Group, who currently own the rights to Marathon's library with their animated shows in particular being under the Zodiak Kids label.
