Guadalupe Ontiveros (September 17, 1942 - July 26, 2012), née Moreno, shortened to Lupe Ontiveros, was a Mexican-American actress and activist.
Born in El Paso, Texas, she worked for several years as a social worker before making her acting debut in Charlie's Angels. Some of her better known roles include Rosalita in The Goonies, Carmen García in Real Women Have Curves, Yolanda Saldivar in Selena, and Juanita “Mamá” Solis in Desperate Housewives.
She had over a hundred credits to her name by the time she passed away from liver cancer in 2012.
