"Life teaches you about life, acting doesn't."

Liz Fraser, born Elizabeth Joan Winch, (14 August 1930 — 6 September 2018) was an English actress best known for being cast in early Carry On films and later on in many Awful British Sex Comedies.

She was born in Southwark, London and in her early twenties won an evening scholarship to the London School of Dramatic Art. Her first appearance in a film was in Touch and Go, but her breakthrough role was as Peter Sellers' daughter in I'm All Right Jack.

She was cast in several of the early Carry On films from Carry On Regardless to Carry On Cabby but was dropped from the series against the wishes of producer Peter Rogers after an ill-advised conversation with distributor boss Stuart Levy about how the films could be better distributed.

She continued to be a regular face in British television and cinema, and in the '70s appeared in several sex comedies from Adventures of a Taxi Driver to Rosie Dixon - Night Nurse.

She died from complications after an operation at Royal Brompton Hospital at the age of 88.
