Svetlana Lisa Gurdin (born March 1, 1946 in Santa Monica, California), better known as Lana Wood, is an American actress of Russian descent.
She's the younger sister of Natalie Wood and aunt of Natasha Gregson Wagner. She appeared in three films starring her sister, the first one as soon as the age of 1. She made the bulk of her career on television, often portraying earthier "bad girls" (that also often happen to exude sex appeal), in sharp contrast with her sister's more glamourous persona and preference for the big screen, and she also posed for Playboy.
She's been married six times, with the longest marriage lasting four years and the shortest lasting one month. Evan Smedley, her only daughter, died of cancer at age 42 in 2017.
She also wrote two biographies of her sister: Natalie, A Memoir by Her Sister (1984) and Little Sister (2021), the latter focusing more on her tragic death and its mysterious circumstances.
