Kate O'Mara (10 August 1939 – 30 March 2014) was an English actress. She had a long career in British television, theatre and film, including two appearances in the Hammer Horror film series, in The Vampire Lovers and The Horror of Frankenstein.

She made three appearances as the Rani in Doctor Who: in "The Mark of the Rani" alongside Colin Baker's Sixth Doctor, in "Time and the Rani", Sylvester McCoy's debut as the Seventh Doctor, and the 1993 EastEnders crossover special "Dimensions in Time".

Across The Pond, she appeared on Dynasty for two seasons as Caress Morell, and lent her voice to two of Bevanfield Films' Mockbuster direct-to-video Enchanted Tales animated films: Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin.

Not to be confused with Kate Mara.
