Jordan Elizabeth Ladd (born January 14, 1975) is an American actress who is known for such Horror movies as The Specials, Cabin Fever, Club Dread, Death Proof, and Hostel Part II.
Her mom is Cheryl Ladd and her grandfather was Alan Ladd.
This actress contains examples of:
- Actor Allusion: Eli Roth unsuccessfully tries to hit on her in both Cabin Fever and Death Proof.
- Dye Hard: Naturally blonde but she dyed her hair black early on in her career, due to not wanting to be recognised as Cheryl Ladd's daughter. So she has dark hair in her early roles like Never Been Kissed and The Specials. In the 2000s however, she reverted to blonde and is more recognisable as that.
- Friendship on the Set: She became friends with Rachel True while working on Embrace Of The Vampire, and it was actually Jordan who suggested she audition for her best known role in The Craft.
- Ms. Fanservice: Usually of the Leg Focus variety. Cabin Fever has an extended tilt up along her legs while she's in a bikini, and she spends Death Proof wearing short shorts. The former arguably goes into Fan Disservice however, as she eventually gets the virus from a sore on her leg. She also appears topless in Club Dread.
- Production Posse: If Eli Roth is involved, she'll probably be showing up at some point. She even appeared in the fake trailer he directed for the Grindhouse segment 'Thanksgiving'.
- Real-Life Relative: She co-starred with her mother in Inland Empire.
- Scream Queens: She hadn't watched much horror before getting cast in Cabin Fever, but ended up becoming a fan after Eli Roth recommended so many movies to her.
- What Could Have Been: She was nearly going to play Amy in The Doom Generation, but her mother turned it down for her, and it became a breakout role for Rose McGowan. She later got to be in a Greg Araki film Nowhere.
