Jeanine Marie Mason (born January 14, 1991) is an American actress. Born in Miami, Florida, she comes from a dance-oriented family of Cuban descent. She began training for dance at age three, studying flamenco, jazz, acrobatics, ballet, hip-hop, contemporary and modern styles. Later at age eleven she began studying theatre, moving to Los Angeles for her film and television work. In 2014 she graduated from UCLA with a degree in World Arts and Cultures.
In 2009, she won on So You Think You Can Dance, while setting a record the youngest winner of its history. Following her win, she moved to acting full time, appearing in guest roles on a number of shows before having a recurring role on Bunheads. As a result, she landed more supporting roles, along with main ones on Of Kings and Prophets then Grey's Anatomy (plus it's web spinoff Greys Anatomy B Team). Her greatest success thus far followed after this as she gained the lead as Liz on Roswell, New Mexico.
