Jay Hammer (November 16, 1944) is a retired American actor and writer best known for Guiding Light (1984-2009), Emergency! (1972-1978), and The Jeffersons (1978-1979).
He was married to writer Pamela K Long, currently married to Dene Nardi and has four children, two with Long and two with Nardi.
Hammer currently runs the Spring Lounge Bar in New York City.
