Japan Taps was a Japanese animation company that was founded in 1990 as a joint venture company between the animation studio Ajia-Do and the toy company Takara (now Takara Tomy). Its head office was located in Koganei City, Tokyo, Japan. The company was created by Takara in an attempt to broadcast its own anime with sole sponsors, without going through an agency.

The company was known for producing the Miracle Girls anime series. They also worked on Licca-chan and the Wildcat Star Journey OVA, Akazukin Chacha and they did the original character drafts for Denkō Chōjin Gridman.

Because Japan Taps was a joint venture with Takara, Ajia-Do did the actual animation production.

The company disbanded around 1995.
