Jang Dong-gun (장동건, credited in Hong Kong films as 張東健, born March 7, 1972 in Seoul, South Korea) is a South Korean actor best known for his roles in Friends and Taegukgi. One of the highest-rated Korean celebrities and probably the most well-known actors outside of Korea, Jang have roles that extends to Hong Kong and Hollywood, and is often considered the most bankable Korean actor.
Besides his roles in films, Jang also took part in plenty of TV series, mostly in the post 2010s, including All About Eve, A Gentleman's Dignity, and Arthdal Chronicles.
