James Nesbitt OBE (born January 15, 1965) is a Northern Irish actor, noted for his prolific TV output . He is probably best known for his roles as Adam Williams in Cold Feet, and Bofur in The Hobbit trilogy. He has been nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award, two BAFTAs, and a Golden Globe, and has won a British Independent Film Award and a National Television Award.
