J.J. Sedelmaier Productions, Inc. is an American animation studio founded by J.J. Sedelmaier and his wife Patrice. Sedelmaier started his animation career as an animator for Buzzco Associates until 1984, when he worked with R. O. Blechman at The Ink Tank for six years. In 1990, Sedelmaier left the company to form his own company along with his wife Patrice located in White Plains, New York to create and produce animated commercials utilizing print illustrators as designers – an approach they continue to this day.

The studio is best known for providing the animation for Saturday Night Live's Saturday TV Funhouse segments, created by Robert Smigel, for three seasons and (alongside Wachtenheim/Marianetti) have continued to have a long and creative relationship with Smigel beyond SNL. Aside from SNL, the company was also best known for animating the first two seasons of Beavis and Butt-Head. Sedelmaier even worked with Betty Cohen to produce a sizzle reel that originally presented the concept of the Cartoon Network to Turner, and the rest was history. As the studio's director and creative force, J.J. Sedelmaier oversees everything that is produced by his company.

He is known in the industry as an all-around expert on the history of film, cartoons, animation, graphic design and illustration. His forte is translating print/illustration into film, and over the years his company collaborated with many of the country's foremost illustrators and artists including David Levine, Al Hirschfeld, Garry Trudeau, Alex Ross, Don Martin, Tom Warburton, Neal Adams, Douglas Fraser, Gary Baseman and many others.
