Jaime Augusto Richards III, known professionally as J. August Richards, (born August 28, 1973 in Washington, DC) is an American actor, best known for his roles as vampire hunter Charles Gunn on The WB's Angel, and Mike Peterson / Deathlok on the ABC-aired Marvel Cinematic Universe television series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..
In 2020, he came out as gay. He married model Joshua Gbor in 2023.
