Humberly González (born April 14, 1992, in Punto Vija, Venezuela, with her first name pronounced as "Umberly") is a Canadian actress of Venezuelan descent. She immigrated at age 15 to Canada with her parents. González now lives in Toronto.

She developed a love for acting in high school, having attended the Keyano College Theatre Program and then also Montreal's National Theatre School. Following this, she has played roles in a number of Canadian and American films or TV shows. In some roles, she's credited with her last name spelled "Gonzalez" without an accent.

González came out as queer in December of 2021. She is good friends with Keara Graves, the nonbinary and queer Canadian Youtuber, who is a fellow actor. While she's currently dating a man, González practices polyamory; they have an open relationship so she sees other women as well.

Tropes in her work include:

  • Actor-Shared Background: She portrays Latinas in many of her roles, who often are Latin American immigrants as well. Gina specifically is Venezuelan like her in Maps and Mistletoe.
  • Dawson Casting: She's now in her 30s, but has been cast often as much younger people, including teenagers. González says it's common for her; she's been cast her own age but also as 16 year olds.
  • Fake American: She's played as many American characters as Canadians at least.
  • Head-Turning Beauty: Multiple characters she's played draw immediate attention from other people due to her beauty on entering the scene.
  • Queer Character, Queer Actor: She has played queer characters on In the Dark, Utopia Falls, Trapped: The Alex Cooper Story and Jupiter's Legacy while she is queer herself, though she only came out in the wake of her role playing Sophie on Ginny and Georgia, stating these roles weren't sought out specifically. They did help her come out though, since they portrayed LGBT+ women as normal and made her feel confident in her sexuality. She also plays Dani on Friends and Family Christmas, who's attracted to Amelia, and they have a romance.
  • Proud Beauty: She has played characters more than once with a keen awareness of their own beauty and, though not explicitly commenting, clearly flaunt it.
  • Twofer Token Minority: Multiple times she's been the only Latina in the cast, who's also queer.
