Haley McGee is a Canadian actress, comedian and playwright. She appeared in an episode of Murdoch Mysteries (filmed in her native Toronto) before moving to London. Since then, she has had a guest role as Nikola Tesla's secretary Dorothy Skerritt on Doctor Who. Her work as a playwright includes solo shows such as Oh My Irma, I'm Doing This for You and The Ex-Boyfriend Yard Sale. The latter is about Haley's attempts to sell items her exes gave her to settle some credit card debt and has since been turned into a book of the same name. Haley also hosts a podcast called The Cost of Love in which she interviews a variety of experts in order to answer the question, "Is the cost of love worth it?". Her play Age is a Feeling was nominated for a Laurence Olivier award.
