Freida Selena Pinto (born 1984) is an Indian actress who rose to prominence after making her film debut in the 2008 film Slumdog Millionaire. She followed this up with appearances in the action films Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Immortals.
Since then her career has mostly been outside her native India (though she has also acted in the Hindi-language Love Sonia). Television-wise, she was one of the protagonists on the miniseries Guerrilla and has a recurring voice role on Mira, Royal Detective. In 2022, she starred in the romance film Mr Malcolm's List.
