Frank Darabont (born Ferenc Árpád Darabont, January 28, 1959) is a French-born American director of Hungarian descent, who is most well-known for his award-winning film adaptations of Stephen King's works, as well as being the creator and the first season showrunner of AMC's The Walking Dead.
