Fiona Mary Wilson, CBE (born July 10, 1958 in County Cork, Ireland), better known as Fiona Shaw, is an Irish actress and theatre and opera director.
An accomplished actress who has worked extensively in the UK with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre (she won numerous awards including the Olivier Award for Best Actress several times), she is best known to the general public for her roles as Petunia Dursley in the Harry Potter film series, Marnie Stonebrook in the fourth season of True Blood, the Counsellor in Fleabag and Carolyn Martens in Killing Eve (the latter having received particular acclaim).
She was awarded an Honorary CBE in 2001, and in 2020 she was listed at #29 on The Irish Times list of Ireland's greatest film actors.
Shaw is a lesbian, having dated the English actress Saffron Burrows from 2002 to 2005. She married Sri Lankan memoirist and economist Sonali Deraniyagala in 2018.
