FTL Games was a publisher of video games for several systems from 1984 to 1996, especially but not exclusively for the Atari ST. While all of their games were released for the ST, they were generally also made available for other platforms. FTL Games was the game publishing division of Software Heaven, and games were released with both names on them.

Games released by FTL Games include:

  • SunDog: Frozen Legacy: A space merchant game originally released for the Apple ][ in 1984; its 1985 port to the Atari ST was one of the first big hits for the platform, and it was the best-selling game for the first year of the ST's release.
  • OIDS: Somewhat of a cross between Lunar Lander and Choplifter!; the player guides an Asteroids-esque wedge-shaped ship to rescue Oids from the factories they are being held in. One selling point was a level editor that allowed players to build their own levels; a contest was held for the best levels, and winning entries were shipped to all entrants on a floppy disk. Originally released for the ST in 1987; a 1990 port to the Macintosh was critically praised but didn't sell well.
  • Dungeon Master: A groundbreaking first-person real-time Action RPG. FTL's biggest hit by far, and the ST's best-selling game of all time, Dungeon Master was ported to over a dozen platforms after its 1987 release for the ST.
  • Chaos Strikes Back: A Mission-Pack Sequel to Dungeon Master, ported to almost all platforms that the original was released on.
  • Dungeon Master: Theron's Quest: A simplified version of Dungeon Master for the TurboGrafx-16 and PC Engine.
  • Dungeon Master II: The Legend of Skullkeep: A widely-ported sequel that was released in Japan in 1993, but not released in the US or Europe until 1995, by which time it was seen as dated and flopped.
  • Dungeon Master Nexus: A 1996 Japan-only release for the Sega Saturn, released under the FTL Games/Software Heaven name but published (and likely actually developed) by Vector Interactive Software.
