Eric Robert Walters (born March 3, 1957) is a Canadian author who is mostly famous for writing Young Adult Literature, as well as Picture Books.
He first got into writing novels when teaching a Grade 5 class in 1993; to encourage them to get into books, he wrote his first novel, Stand Your Ground, which was set in the school he taught at. From then on he wrote young adult novels, often focusing on realistic themes. From then on he has published over 70 different books.
Walters also currently runs a charity - Creation of Hope
- which cares for oprhans in Kenya.
