Eric Jerome Dickey (July 7, 1961 – January 3, 2021) was an American author. Dickey was known for his contemporary novels depicting African-Americans, particular African-American women in various genres from suspense to romance/erotica. His first and best known novel Sister, Sister (not related to the TV show) was a New York Times best seller. He also wrote a Storm graphic novel for Marvel Comics, which was a re-telling of when the character first met Black Panther as children.
He passed away in January 2021 after battling cancer. He is survived by four daughters.
