Dorothy Louise Bridges (nee Simpson, September 19, 1915-February 16, 2009) was an American actress and poet who the matriarch of the Bridges acting family with her husband Lloyd Bridges, sons Beau Bridges and Jeff Bridges and grandson Jordan Bridges.
She died in 2009 at age 93 from natural causes.
