Dimps is an Osaka, Japan-based video game development studio, founded by ex-SNK employees in 2000. Among the ex-SNK staff are Takashi Nishiyama and Hiroshi Matsumoto, who both worked on the original Street Fighter and several of SNK's fighting games, with Nishiyama taking the role of Dimps's president. Dimps is known principally for developing anime-based Fighting Games and the later 2D Sonic the Hedgehog platformers.
