Established in 1993 as a subsidiary of TYO before splitting off in 2000, Digital Frontier
(デジタル・フロンティア) is a CGI studio based out of Shibuya, Japan. The studio primaily specializes in CGI and VFX for video games, anime and live action productions. The company has two main subsidiaries, one out of Taiwan, and another Japanese studio named GEMBA (best known for their work on Berserk (2016) and The Magnificent Kotobuki, both of which Digital Frontier assisted on).
