Del Rey Manga was a manga distribution company that was an imprint of the well-respected Del Rey Books, known for publishing fantasy and science fiction since 1977; Del Rey Manga started publishing in 2004. They are well known for breaking out in the use of honorifics in English-published manga. It was a joint venture with Kodansha Comics, and like its namesake parent a subsidiary of Random House's Ballantine Books.
Del Rey Manga was discontinued in 2010, with Kodansha Comics USA being created in its place.
