David Sutherland Johnson is an American director, screenwriter and producer. He began the production company Circumference Films and directed and starred in every episode of Economy Watch. After being interested in narrative storytelling and video projects for years, he began the Economy Watch web series as a way to experiment with a directorial style and explain economic topics in a humorous manner. He is interested in directing feature films.

He has met actors such as Chris Hemsworth and has talked with writers such as Jeff Loveness.
