David John is a British actor.
His first acting role was in an episode of the 1975 miniseries The Fight Against Slavery, although he wouldn't return to acting until 1980, with a guest role in an episode of The Professionals. In 1981, he made appearances in both Chariots of Fire as Ernest and Shock Treatment as a member of Oscar Drill and the Bits. He reunited with Oscar Drill's actor, Gary Shail, in an episode of Metal Mickey in 1982, where he once more played a drummer.
Throughout The '80s, he continued to make small appearances in various TV shows. While several of his appearances were in now relatively obscure programs such as Dream Stuffing and Tripper's Day, he also appeared in the final serial of Doctor Who's original run, "Survival".
Once The '90s rolled around, he was restricted with what roles he could accept as he became a single father, but in recent years has found work as a voice actor.
