Darlene Johnson, (6 November 1935 — 24 July 2009), was an Australian actress best known for playing Emily Weiss in Shock Treatment.
She began acting in 1959, in an episode of BBC Sunday-Night Theatre. One of her earliest roles on stage was in 1973, in the play The Removalists, directed by Jim Sharman. In 1975, she was cast in the musical Happy as a Sandbag and reprised her role two years later when it was turned into a TV movie.
In 1981, she was cast as Emily Weiss in Shock Treatment, once again directed by Jim Sharman. She and Manning Redwood played the parents of Janet Majors, recast from Susan Sarandon to Jessica Harper.
In 1995, she played Lady Dalrymple in an episode of Screen Two, which was later released theatrically worldwide as Persuasion (1995).
She died at the age of 73.
