DANGEN Entertainment is a Japanese video game publisher that specializes in localization, marketing, and porting indie games in both English and Japanese language regions. Their name is both a portmanteau of "Dandy Gentlemen", and romanji of the Japanese word for assertion.
In 2020, DANGEN came under fire for a series of abuse allegations on the part of its then-CEO, Ben Judd. A more detailed explanation can be found on this blog.
