Cynthia Rhodes (born November 21, 1956 in Nashville, Tennessee) is an American retired actress, singer and dancer. She's been married to Richard Marx since 1989.
Her film roles include Tina Tech in Flashdance (1983), Jackie in Staying Alive (1983) and Penny in Dirty Dancing (1987). '80s music fans might also recognize her as the girl in the red dress in the music video for Toto's "Rosanna".note
