Christopher Lee Yost (born on February 21, 1973) is a writer who is responsible for his own Marvel animated universe comprised of Wolverine and the X-Men (2009), Hulk Vs., The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and Thor: Tales of Asgard. He and Craig Kyle are also responsible for the creation of X-23, a character whose appearance in X-Men: Evolution proved so popular she was adapted into the Marvel Comics and other media.

He has written for X-Men: Evolution, Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes, Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow, and Hulk Vs. He is also the story editor on Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes, the first season of Iron Man: Armored Adventures, and The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Comics-wise, he's had runs on Scarlet Spider (specifically Kaine's tenure), X-Force, and Avenging Spider-Man. He was also a screenwriter on Thor: The Dark World and Thor: Ragnarok. Outside of Marvel, he has written the film Secret Headquarters and will showrun Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (having also written for the 2003 series).

Consider Yost and buddy Craig Kyle are to Marvel animation-wise what Bruce Timm and Paul Dini are to DC animation-wise.
