Christopher Malcolm, (19 August 1946 — 15 February 2014), was a Scottish-Canadian actor best known for playing Justin in Absolutely Fabulous.
He was born in Aberdeen but moved to Canada with his family in the late '40s. After studying theatre at the University of British Columbia, he returned to England and worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company from 1966 to 1968. He continued to work in theatre through The '70s (he was the first Brad Majors in The Rocky Horror Show) while also appearing in films such as The Empire Strikes Back.
In 1978, he started producing plays with Pal Joey, transferring to the West End in 1980. In 1981, he won the Best Comedy award for Nell Dunn's Steaming. In 1983, he had a guest role in the Only Fools and Horses episode "Friday the 14th" as an axe murderer escaped from an insane asylum.
In 1990, he co-produced a new production of The Rocky Horror Show, which was followed by productions of The Pajama Game, Footloose, Single Spies, and Flashdance. He didn't stop acting however and appeared in 11 episodes of Absolutely Fabulous as Justin, Edina's ex-husband and Saffy's father.
He died of cancer at the age of 67.
