The Sitcom king of America during the 80s and 90s. Started in 1981 by writer Marcy Carsey and producer Tom Werner, the company has churned out many of the most iconic Sit Coms and Dom Coms in television history. However their output has slowed since the mid-2000s, and the company seems to be in a state of hibernation. Werner Entertainment, run entirely by Tom Werner, undertook the production of the Roseanne revival and currently oversees its continuation, The Conners.
