Candy Davis, born Clare Damaris Bastin, (2 January 1962 — 27 July 2021), was a British model/actress turned author best known for playing Miss Belfridge in Are You Being Served?.

In 1982, she took part in and won the Miss Nude America contest, which was followed by some time working as a Page Three Stunna. After some small glamour roles on TV, she played Miss Belfridge in the final two series of Are You Being Served?, the final of the Sexy Secretaries featured in the series.

In 1985, she married Gary Olsen and emigrated to Japan to teach English as a foreign language. By The '90s, she was divorced from Olsen and back in Britain to begin working as an author under pen names such as "Mo Hayder" and "Theo Clare". She published her first novel, Birdman, in 1999. It was an international bestseller.

She died from complications of motor neurone disease at the age of 59.
