Brian F Haig is a former US Army Colonel who later became a thriller author. He was the third son of former four star general, SACEUR and former Secretary of State in the Reagan administration Alexander Haig.
Colonel Haig is a West Point graduate and airborne ranger qualified infantry officer. His last position in the Army was in the Office of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. After retiring from the Army, Colonel Haig started writing the Sean Drummond series of novels.
His primary character Sean Drummond was a former Army Special Forces officer who suffered a career ending injury on a mission and was forced to transfer to the Army JAG corps. He was a special attorney used in courts martial involving highly secretive units and classified information. However, Colonel Haig wrote two novels that don’t have Sean Drummond in them.
