Robert Warren Woodruff (August 18, 1961) is an American tv journalist who works for ABC News.
He was briefly an anchor on ABC World News Tonight with Elizabeth Vargas before being wounded by a roadside bomb in Iraq and has since recovered.
Due to his experiences with the head injuries as a result of the attack, he established the Bob Woodruff Foundation to help veterans and other with head injuries.
He is not related to tv journalist Judy Woodruff.
