Robert Edward Crane (July 13, 1928 – June 29, 1978) was an American actor, drummer, radio personality, and disc jockey best known for Hogan's Heroes (1965-1971), The Bob Crane Show (1975), and The Donna Reed Show (1963-1965).
He was married to Anne Terzian and Sigrid Valdis and had five children, three with Terzian and two with Valdis.
Crane was found murdered in 1978 at the age of 49 and the circumstances of it, including some revelations with his personal life, has remained controversial.
