Billy Kametz (March 22, 1987—June 9, 2022) was an American actor based in California. He was mostly known for playing Aladdin from Disney's Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular at Disney's California Adventurenote , as well as voicing Josuke Higashikata from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable, Mikhail from Tenrou Sirius the Jaeger, Naofumi Iwatani from The Rising of the Shield Hero, Takuto Maruki in Persona 5 Royal and... you read what's written on his clothes on the picture, right?
On April 26, 2022, Kametz announced on his personal YouTube channel that he had been diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer
and would be taking a hiatus from voice acting to undergo treatment and stay with his family in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He ultimately succumbed to the cancer on June 9 at the age of 35. He was dating fellow voice actor Erica Lindbeck at the time of his passing. All of his ongoing roles have since been recast.
