ABC, the Asahi Broadcasting Group Holdings Corporation, is a regional broadcaster in the Kansai region of central Japan. A sub-station of TV Asahi, the second-largest station in the network, it is one of the major contributors to the network.

ABC's radio broadcasts commenced in 1951 and, five years later, began television broadcasts with the help of NJB (New Japan Broadcasting, the current Mainichi Broadcasting System), on channel 6 under the name OTV (Osaka Television, JOBX-TV). When MBS started their own TV station on channel 4, ABC took full control of channel 6 (JONR-TV). ABC was affiliated to TBS until March 30, 1975, when shareholder issues with the Asahi Shimbun prompted an affiliation switch with MBS. Result: TBS on 4, NET/TV Asahi on 6. Nevertheless, ABC had already been airing some NET/TV Asahi network shows, including the Toei Animation magical girl series beginning with Sally the Witch.

ABC possesses a radio station (JONR, 1008 AM, branded as ABC Radio), a TV station (JONR-DTVnote , channel 6, branded as ABC Television), Sky-A Sports+, which is a sports channel on cable and satellite TV, whereas outside of the broadcasting field it possesses ABC Housing, a venue (ABC Hall), a concert group and the ABC Golf Club.

Not to be confused with other broadcasters named ABC.
