Anthony Anderson (born August 15, 1970 in Compton, California) is an American comedian, actor, writer and presenter. Anderson is best known for his film and television roles, such as starring in the series black•ish as Andre "Dre" Johnson. Anderson previously starred in another sitcom All About The Andersons and has made appearances in the films Transformers (2007), Kangaroo Jack, and Scream 4.
