Also known as Anime Roman, Double R, Anime Aru or Anime Earl, Anime R (アニメアール) is an Osaka-based Japanese support studio established in the late 1970s by Moriyasu Taniguchi and Hiromi Muranaka. Since establishment, the company has worked with Sunrise on many of their shows.

They are also responsible for the anime short Pony Metal U-GAIM, based on a doujinshi series inspired by Creamy Mami, the Magic Angel.

Credits lists can be seen on the Anime News Network Encyclopedia. See also Studio Mu, a sister studio established by Muranaka and Angle, a studio established by animator Satoshi Inoue. AniPages has documented some of their 1980s/early 1990s works.
