Creator / Alex Kurtzman

Alexander Hilary Kurtzman (September 7, 1973) is an American producer, writer, director and showrunner.

Although he has written and/or produced TV shows since the mid-1990s, he is probably best known for his Star Trek works, having produced and written Star Trek (2009) and Star Trek Into Darkness via his company Secret Hideout and showrunned Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Picard.

He is married to producer/director Samantha Counter.
