Hervé Darmenton, better known as Achdé (born July 31, 1961 in Lyon) is a French comic book artist, comic book writer and illustrator.

He initially worked on humorous comic strips and comic books such as C.R.S = Détresse, Doc Véto, Les Damnés de la route and Les Hockeyeurs.

He is most famous for taking over Lucky Luke in 2001 after the passing of the franchise's creator and longtime illustrator Morris. A big fan of the series since his childhood, he's committed to remain as close as possible to the art style of Morris in his work on it. He's also reprised the Lucky Luke Spinoff Babies series Kid Lucky since 2011 and is a consultant on the latter's animated adaptation.

His pen name, "Achdé", is simply his initials (H and D) written phonetically in the same vein as Hergé.
