The Birds and The Bees is a story in the Anthology Comic one-shot, DC's Legion of Bloom, written by Cavan Scott and illustrated by Atagun Ilhan and Mark Morales. The story marks the return of the West Coast Team to the Titans, the Titans West, as well as Bette Kane as Flamebird since 1990 and 2017 respectively.

- Brainwashed: Hank, alongside the other members of the Love Tribe, are brainwashed by Zazzala
- The Bus Came Back: This issue marks the return of a few things.
- Bette Kane herself, who last appeared being Put on a Bus during A Lonely Place Of Living in Detective Comics
- The Flamebird mantle, which last appeared in Batwoman #4
- The Titans West itself, which last appeared during Hawk and Dove Annual 2.
- Crystal Spires and Togas: Played with since the "Love Tribe" itself is shown to be dystopian.
- Forceful Kiss: Hank tries to plant one on Dawn whilst brainwashed
- Sequel Hook: Appears to be setting up the Titans West in lieu of Titans (2023) replacing the Justice League as the main superhero team following the events of Dark Crisis. As of April 2024, nothing has come out of it.
- Verbal Tic: Zazzala speaks with her S's replaced with Z's

- West Coast Team: The re-united Titans West, this time led by Flamebird as the leader with the second Dove, Bumblebee and Hawk as the team members.
