Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vs. Street Fighter is a crossover comic between Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the IDW comic) and Street Fighter, consisting of a five-issue miniseries, written by Paul Allor with art by Ariel Medel. The comic miniseries ran from June to November of 2023.

A new martial arts tournament is being held in Atlantic City, attracting fighters from all across the world to test their might. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have excitedly decided to take part in the tournament and find themselves facing off against the legendary Street fighters. The two sides intend to prove themselves against each other and a fierce rivalry is born as they face off. However, a new threat to both the Turtles and Street Fighters seems to be on the horizon, as a mysterious enemy is kidnapping the participants of the tournament and both sides will need to team up to get to the bottom of this mystery.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vs. Street Fighter contains examples off:

  • Adaptational Jerkass: At least at this point in the IDW comics, Shredder had mellowed out and become a good guy as well as mentor to the heroes. Here he's still evil and kind of a dick, even if A Lighter Shade of Black to M. Bison.
  • Alternate Continuity: The comic is set after the Armageddon game storyline of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (IDW) comic but is non-canon due to a few discrepancies in continuity such as Shredder still being evil while he had undergone a Heel–Face Turn at this point in the comics.

  • Bad Boss: M. Bison treats his newest lackey Baxter Stockman horribly and frequently yells at and even hits him.
  • Big Bad: M. Bison is the mastermind behind the plot of the comic to kidnap fighters and siphon their power to use them to create Psycho Bombs to blackmail the world to his will.
  • Crossover Villain-in-Chief: M. Bison of Street Fighter is main villain with his lackies being rogues of the TMNT like Dr. Baxter Stockman.

  • Diabolical Mastermind: M. Bison is a powerful criminal figure with an international crime organization, the Shadaloo syndicate, with international reach and a desire to Take Over the World.
  • The Dragon: Dr. Baxter Stockman acts as M. Bison's right hand man and is behind helping him perfect the weapons called the Psycho Bombs to take over the world.

  • Even Evil Has Standards: Baxter Stockman turns on M. Bison when Bison reveals that he intends to destroy New York with his newly designed Psycho Bomb weapon, as destroying his home city is way too far even for an evil Mad Scientist like Stockman.

  • Living Battery: M. Bison and Baxter Stockman's new Psycho Bomb weapon is powered by Psycho Energy which is found in skilled martial artists. To power the Psycho Bomb, they kidnap both Chun-Li and Raphael to harvest their powers for the weapon.
  • Mad Scientist: Dr Baxter Stockman is a fiendish scientist and old foe of the Ninja Turtles who's been helping M. Bison create a powerful weapon called the Psycho Bomb using his expertise.

  • Make an Example of Them: M. Bison plans to blackmail the world into his control using the Psycho Bombs. To show he isn't bluffing about the horrific consequences if they' re used, M. Bison intends to use one to blow up New York and kill the millions in it as a show of force.
  • One-Man Army: Shredder utterly demolishes dozens if not hundreds of M. Bison's mooks with ease and also takes down both Ryu and Leonardo without breaking a sweat during their fight.
  • The Rival: Guile and Raphael butt heads during the comic and become fierce rivals wanting to defeat the other in a fighting match.

  • Take Over the World: M. Bison plans to create superweapons called Psycho Bombs and use their threat to blackmail the world into ceding control to him.
  • Villain Respect: The Big Bad M. Bison becomes fascinated with and appreciates Raphael's fighting ability and Psycho Power abilities.
